The Lori Bed - Queen / Vertical

My wife and I have been researching and looking for a murphy bed for about a year. We wanted something reasonably priced, but we also wanted to make sure we would buy a murphy bed that was built well and would last. I found a lot of cheaper options from other vendors / websites, but many people complained about poor workmanship or very vague and unhelpful assembly instructions.

We recently found out about Lori Bed and it hit fulfilled EVERYTHING we wanted in a murphy bed.

1. The materials that are used seem to be of high quality. Upon assembling the bed, I was impressed by how solid all the components felt.

2. The instructions and packaging impressed me the MOST. Everything was organized very well. Everything was labeled very clearly. Putting the bed together was a very easy and pleasant experience. There were written instructions AND video instructions – I used both and found both to be helpful.

3. Safety features were a top priority. We have young kids in the home and we LOVED the fact that the bed could be locked when not in use. This gave us a lot of peace of mind because we plan to use the murphy bed room as an additional room for the kids to play in and hang out. We also liked that the bed has a locking mechanism to keep it locked when the bed is down and in use.

Overall, everything about the bed and experience is great. The materials are great, assembly was easy, and we LOVE the bed and the space that is saved!

We've set this up in what will be our kids room, so there is space for work, play, and sleep. A well-constructed Murphy bed is a lifetime investment, as the kids grow and the bed evolves from emergency monster-in-the-closet nights to their regular bed. This bed took a while to construct, but it is well worth it. It is incredibly safe with the key when up and the lever locks when down, and a smooth piston mechanism so you do not need to lift. The construction is solid, with no risk of wood fraying along the edges or important junctions and hurting delicate fingers. We did an extensive search before settling on a Loribed, and are so happy that we're buying another for our guest room/study and can't wait for the cabinets to be released!

This queen horizontal Lori Bed has turned this very small room into a functional guest bedroom with ample space left for my office. It is extremely well built with solid plywood (unlike most Murphy beds with inferior “engineered “ wood) and steel components. It was an easy and quick installation. Visiting family members have already used it for a couple of months and have described it as the most comfortable Murphy bed they’ve ever slept on. We couldn’t be happier with this purchase.
