The Lori Bed MUST be anchored to the wall for safety. We supply screws for wood and metal studs. If your wall is another material like concrete or masonry, you will need to supply the necessary mounting screws.

Our Murphy beds and other products are usually in-stock and ready to ship the next business day. Everything arrives at your doorstep, typically in 3 to 7 days. Large orders may ship via freight.

Do I want Vertical or Horizontal?
We offer the Lori Bed in both Vertical and Horizontal orientations, depending on your preferences and space constraints.
Vertical beds are the traditional orientation, and guests can get in and out from either side.
Horizontal beds are a good choice if your ceiling height is lower, or if you don’t want the bed to stick out as far into the room when it’s open.
Can I assemble the Lori Bed myself?
Yes, you don’t need a professional to assemble or install a Lori Bed. Each step is simple and is clearly shown in our assembly instructions and step-by-step videos. The process takes a few hours, and it helps to have a second set of hands here and there, but you don’t need any special skills or tools.
What kind of mattress do I need?
The Lori Bed works with any mattress up to 10 inches thick. We calibrated the lifting mechanism of the Lori Bed to match the weight of The Lori Mattress, which weighs about 50lbs for a Twin and 80lbs for a Queen. Your bed will work best if you choose the Lori Mattress, or one of similar weight.
How does the Lori Bed attach to the wall?
The Lori Bed must be anchored to the wall for safety, but we designed the process to be as simple as possible. Just anchor the rear mounting plate into three studs with two screws each. We supply screws for wood and metal studs. There is no need to screw into the floor or remove your baseboards, like many of our competitors.
If you have masonry or concrete walls, you’ll need to supply the proper anchors for your application. The Lori Bed cannot be mounted to drywall only.

Very happy with our Lori Bed. We downsized into our current home and needed to put a bed and desk in my wife's sewing room. The Lori Bed fit the bill perfectly. Having moved 17 times in 42 years of marriage, I have put together lots of furniture (beds, desks, shelves, etc.) and IMHO the design and function of our Lori Bed is top notch, as are the materials (real wood). Yes, it was a bit pricey, but if you need something for the long haul, the it's well worth the money.

We live in Hawaii so we had to figure out the logistics of getting the Lori Bed delivered overseas. The customer service team was very helpful. It took us around 6 hours to do the install with 3 people, (myself, husband and our neighbor). There were a few details/adjustments we had to make/re-do while installing to be sure the connector bolts secured properly but overall the instructions and corresponding video were very helpful and clear. Our neighbor that is a general contractor mentioned more than once that the quality of the materials was great, and they really paid attention to detail for a quality product that you don't often get with furniture these days. We are thrilled with our Lori Bed and can't wait to host friends and family with it, while now having the space for a nursery AND have a home work set-up available.

We did A LOT of looking before finally deciding on the Lori Bed. Yes, it is expensive but this one is worth the extra cost. The quality is top-tier and the simple design fits well in our contemporary modern space. Assembly was challenging but the directions were clear and parts and pieces were well packaged. We also purchased the Lori mattress and so glad that we did! The mattress is extremely comfortable and we have added peace of mind knowing it was designed specifically for a Murphy bed (no slumping). High quality Murphy bed! Love that it comes in plywood and not the typical mdf (particle-board). Very beautiful, although I did think it was going to be a lighter brown based off of pictures. But still very sleek. Installation takes quite a bit of time, 6-8 hrs, but done so to ensure stability. Love the sales they have too!

We couldn't be happier with our Lori Bed. We built a niche around the bed itself and installed it next to a cabinet so that it looks built-in. The construction quality is excellent, and everything feels sturdy and well-made. Shipping was surprisingly fast, and all of the components arrived well packed and protected. One of the things we appreciate most is how lightweight the bed is—it lifts and lowers smoothly with very little effort.
