We purchased the Lori Queen Mattress for a Murphy bed built into our new tiny home. Unboxing was fun and easy. The mattress size was perfect. The weight makes lowering and lifting a breeze but isn’t too heavy for our trailer weight. The mattress quality and warranty are appreciated. My husband finds the firmness just right, but I expected and was hoping for a firmer “medium-firm” feel. I think the firmness would work best for one sleeper with a preference that leans firm. Still, we’ll probably sleep on this mattress for many years.

At first I was a bit skeptical about the price, so went online and did some shopping. There are cheaper mattresses to be found, same size, various warranties, delivery included. But none of them were designed to be stored standing up and that is an important consideration for this type of bed. If you have ever stored a mattress in your garage you know the slump it gets after a time. So we went with the Lori Mattress. I was concerned that the covers for the through-stitching would be felt through the sheets but no, very cleverly done. It was surprising to see such a robust mattress in such a small box. We let it sit for 24 hours to fully expand before we added a mattress cover and bedding. Our first guest - just days after we installed it, claimed it was the nicest bed he had ever been in! Now we have another problem... getting people to leave.
