We are a family-owned and operated business on a mission to help people get more out of their homes with quality, affordable, easy-to-install Murphy beds.

    It Started With Lori

    It all started back in 2008 when an artist named Lori designed the original Lori Bed to optimize the space in her studio apartment.

    Once family and friends took note of her new creation, she began to receive orders from people who wanted their own Lori Bed.

    What started as a personal project blossomed into a business with eager customers reaching out from across the country.

    Then Came Brenden & Kyle

    In 2014, Lori passed the torch on to brothers Brenden and Kyle who have since joined forces to share the innovative Lori Bed design with people across the United States and around the world.

      Kyle (left) currently lives in Austin, Texas with his wife Ndunge, their three children Zora, Asher, and Eden.

      Our Commitment to Giving Back

      We understand that woodworking impacts our world’s forests and that trees form the backbone of a healthy planet for future generations.

      Since 2016, we’ve been partnering with the Eden Reforestation Project to replant forests in some of the most impoverished and deforested areas of the planet. For every order you place on our website, we partner with the Eden Project to plant 10 trees in Kenya, Ndunge’s home country.

          At Lori, we make getting a Murphy bed faster, easier, and better. We keep our beds in-stock, and we ship them quickly, right to your door. We design our Murphy beds to be simple to assemble and safe to use, and we choose only high-quality materials like real wood and powder-coated steel.

          And finally, we stand behind our beds with a Lifetime Warranty and a Customer Experience team available Monday to Friday during business hours. Feel free to compare us to the competition. We’ll be here when you get back.

          Our Murphy beds and other products are usually in-stock and ready to ship within 1-2 business days. FedEx orders typically arrive 3 to 7 business days after they ship. Larger orders that ship by freight typically take 3 to 5 business days to process and 7 to 10 business days in transit, with delivery by appointment. Any pre-order or backordered products will show the expected shipping date before you place your order.

          Most Lori Beds orders ship via FedEx and arrive at your property like any other online delivery. There's no delivery window to book, and no one needs to come into your home. Larger or multi-item orders ship by LTL freight instead, and the carrier will contact you to schedule a drop-off appointment.

          You don’t need a professional to assemble or install a Lori Bed. Each step is clearly shown in our assembly instructions and step-by-step videos. The process takes 6-8 hours (or a full day) for two people, but you don’t need any special skills or tools.
