Return Policy

Our money-back guarantee gives you 60 days to decide whether the Lori Bed is everything you hoped for. If for some reason it’s not working out, you can return it for a full refund. Here’s how that works:

  • Email us within 60 days of placing your order. We will then help schedule a FedEx pickup of your boxes
  • You’ll need to securely pack the Murphy bed in the original packaging. Don’t throw the boxes away until you’re sure the Murphy bed is right for you
  • The Murphy bed will need to be in the same condition in which you received it. For example, we can't take back a Paint-Ready Murphy bed that you've painted or stained. Make sure the Murphy bed is right for you before making any modifications to it
  • We will refund you the full purchase price of your Murphy bed, less the cost of the return shipping labels (which is $150)

And remember, if you have any issues whatsoever with your Murphy bed, even if you’re not sure you want to return it, please get in touch with us personally. We want you and every other Lori Beds customer to have the best possible experience with us.

For customers outside the continental U.S.A., the original shipping and handling paid isn’t refundable.

Lifetime Warranty

Our Murphy bed is so high-quality that we can confidently offer a Lifetime Warranty on all of our components. If any part of your Murphy bed breaks during normal use, we’ll replace the broken pieces at our cost, including free shipping. Of course, this only covers problems during what would be considered normal use of the Murphy bed, not cases where the damage is caused by things like abuse, improper assembly, or modifications to the structure.

The Natural and Walnut Furphy Beds are constructed with hardwood plywood and real wood veneers. The White bed uses hardwood plywood and high-pressure laminate (HPL). 

The Natural and Walnut Furphy Beds have a UV cured, No-VOC clear coat. The White Furphy Bed has a High Pressure Laminate (HPL).   

The Furphy Bed can be wiped down with a damp rag and mild soap. Be sure to wipe dry and do not leave any standing water on the beds surfaces.

The Furphy Mattress Cover can be removed and washed. We suggest hand washing with a mild detergent, or machine wash cold and hang dry. Do not wash the foam inserts of the Furphy Mattress.

The Furphy Bed is rated to 300lbs, strong enough for most dog breeds.

The Furphy Bed must be attached to a wall. We provide drywall anchors in the hardware kit. If you have a brick, tile or other type of wall, we suggest you consult with your local hardware store to source anchors that are appropriate for your particular situation.

Given the design of the Furphy Bed there is no baseboard notch, but we do provide spacers that allow the bed to be installed in front of baseboard.
